Position Summary
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Cincinnati is seeking a highly motivated Grants Coordinator to support the organization’s efforts in securing, structuring, and manage funding for our programs. This includes but is not limited to administration, reimbursement, compliance and reporting related to public and private grants as well as a variety of local, state, and federal subsidy programs. The ideal candidate is organized and detail-oriented, skilled at technical writing, can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and is able to work collaboratively with internal and external partners. The Grants Coordinator will be part of the Real Estate team, working directly with the Housing Finance and Grants Manager, but collaborating broadly with all aspects of the team.   
 
Position Responsibilities
·        Coordination of Project Funding
o   Assist with maintaining grant files, tracking required documentation, and supporting grant-related administrative activities. Assemble disbursement requests for funding already secured
o   Prepare necessary reporting to funders in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
o   Contribute to RFP responses
·        Compliance and Reporting
o   Support compliance monitoring by being aware of regulations and funding requirements
o   Reference records of all grant and financing agreements
o   Assist with the preparation of accurate and timely program reports in compliance with regulations (quarterly, annual, closeout, etc.)
·        Partner Engagement
o   Gather materials and documentation as required for respective funding programs by working closely with necessary departments
o   Provide information regarding funding partnerships and awarded grants to the marketing and the development team
 
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in grant writing, administration, community development or related field.
  • Strong ability in technical writing, research and critical evaluation
  • Project management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or relevant project management software.
·        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
·        Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
·        Effective communication and interpersonal skills; able to work collaboratively across departments
